The SUA’s have been called “braking problems” which they are not and they have occurred in Toyota models that do not have the all-weather floor mats. Also Toyota lacks the brake-to-idle failsafe system that many other auto manufacturers provide which brings the engine to idle when there is a problem between the brake and the accelerator.
