$2,655,240.00 HIT AND RUN ACCIDENT – FRACTURES & AMPUTATION

A man was sitting in a chair in his front yard watering his grass when he was struck by a hit and run vehicle. The driver fled and there were no witnesses. The driver then attempted to burn the car the morning after the accident. There were no witnesses to the arson either. A neighbor found the victim bleeding with open fractures to his legs. The victim suffered multiple fractures and vascular injuries to both lower extremities. His left leg was subsequently arnputated above the knee. An investigation found a piece of the license plate frame at the scene of the accident and it was subsequently linked to the license plate of attempted car arson.
The defendants and four passengers retained criminal counsel immediately and pled the Fifth Amendment due to criminal charges, which were subsequently dismissed due to lack of witnesses. The driver denied he was driving the vehicle at the moment of impact and contended that there was no proof to support the allegations. Our attorneys successfully went to court, proving with circumstantial evidence that the driver was responsible for the victim’s injuries and won the jury verdict.

$16,000,000 CAR ACCIDENT VERDICT – WRONGFUL DEATH & SEVERE BRAIN INJURY

A car carrying a family of four was struck by a drunk driver in Pomona.  The father was killed while the mother sustained severe brain injuries. Our attorneys obtained a jury verdict for the mother and her 2 children.

$5,500,000 DEFECTIVE CAR - SEVERE BURNS

72yr old driver was severly burned when his pick up truck became engulfed in flames while driving.  Our attorneys were able to show that injuries resulted from a defective exhaust system in the car and the case settled.

 

$1,100,000 NURSING HOME NEGLIGENCE – WRONGFUL DEATH

Our attorneys were able to demonstrate that an Alheimers facility was negligent in allowing a resident to “escape” or wandered off from their locked facility. He was stuck by a locomotive and died days later.
